Description
The Cthulhu Wars Core Game foam kit will hold the entire game's contents for the Kickstarter First Edition. The foam kit will fit perfectly inside the box. It's a great way to protect and organize all of the game pieces. The game board tiles, rulebook, and spellbooks can be safely stored at the bottom of the box under the foam kit.
(Please note that because of the size of the game contents, the foam trays will not allow the game box lid to completely close flush. The top box lid will sit about 2.5 inches higher than normal due to the trays being placed inside with the board game pieces. See picture.)

Foam Kit includes:
- 1x 1 inch (25 mm) thick tray with 33x 2 x 1 inch (50 x 25 mm) cut outs, 6x 1 x 1 inch (25 x 25 mm) cut outs, 1x 1 inch (25 mm) circle cut out, 1x 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch (83 x 63 mm) cut out and 1x 3 1/2 inch (89 mm) circle cut out.
- 1x 2.5 inch (63 mm) thick tray with 5x 2 1/4 inch (57 mm) circle cut outs, 9x 2 1/4 x 2 inch (57 x 50 mm) oval cut outs, 4x 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch (63 x 38 mm) cut outs and 2x 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 inch (70 x 44 mm) cut outs.

Glorious
Fits everything from the Kickstarter, with a 2.5-inch rise on the lid. Boards, tracks, the bag, and instructions fit neatly at the bottom. These trays are a worthy expense for an investment of a game.

Works for faction expansions as well
So I had bought two sets of these because I had two copies of the game and I won't repeat what's already been said here by others (it's a good product). But I eventually bought a 720 Pack Bag with another set of foam inserts which perfectly fits my three faction expansions along with all my map and gate expansions. These inserts easily fit the 720 and 1520 pack bags.

Overal Good Product
This product does an excellent job of protecting the base game of Cthulhu Wars. All pieces fit and are well protected. The box lid DOES NOT fit flush once you add the maps (that have to stack), rules and other paper products is the only minus. It is a little pricey, but far better than inverting the insert for the GOOs and tossing everything on top of it, but I think it's worth it when you consider the base price of the game.

Very helpful
Does a great job of replacing the tray that the Cthulhu Wars Core Set box comes with. You can close the box with the foam in it and fit everything else. I just doesn't close all the way to the bottom, but everything is still securely protected within the box.

These things are fantastic. I appreciated that they noted in the description that the box top wouldn't quite fit back on top - much obliged for that!

Great product and great investment
Considering how much you spent on the game, it is definitely worth the money to protect the figs. Everything fit exactly as shown in the photos on the web page - I printed them out and added them to the box for reference. One thing that I really liked was the sturdier layer of foam along the bottom of each tray. It makes it easy to lift them out of the box. I agree with the other reviewer that the maps end up unbalancing the lid a little but that's a minor issue.

Pretty dang Fantastic
I really do love that this has individual spaces for every piece. Functions just like the pictures show, though I had to refer to the above pics when I was putting mine in. Wasn't sure where to put a couple guys initially. My only complaint would be the maps. There is no foam layer for them so they just kinda sit on top. and since they can't go side by side they end up stacked and I think it give the top a bit of a lopsided effect. Depending on how the expansions are and if Battlefoam makes foam for them, I'll probably buy.
