(1520) P.A.C.K. 1520XL Molle Pluck Foam Load Out (Black)

Have ~4000-4500 orks. Fit everything perfect except for a few models, but that was due to using every piece of space I could. Sturdy, secure, and made well. Fit codex, dice, tray, and a couple of other items.

several friends were customers and had this bag. Seeing them use it made me want one and they finally went on sale so I bought it. No regrets yet and I doubt any will surface.

I bought this bag because i was tired of lugging all my minis around in a stack of shoe boxes, precariously balanced on a rolling file cart. Since my army is rather large, I had some doubts as to whether it would all fit or not. But thanks to the pluck foam design, everything fit. All 20 of my vehicles, all 250 of my infantrymen, my dice, my templates, and my rulebooks. It all fit in the bag. I am absoloutley blown away, and I will be coming back to Battlefoam for all of my future miniature bags.

So this is my second case, with the 720 being my first, and I have to say that I'm very pleased with it. Fits my many vehicles plus room to expand as I keep getting more. One benefit that I never would have thought of is how much loose foam they include in the shipping box, literally have enough to make three more large trays once I get some additional Super Heavies.

I love the space inside this case! I won't need another one for a very long time. I enjoy the mobility and wheels a lot. Front flap is okay for a couple smaller books, but I wish it could fit more. I know some may not like the idea of buying extra side pouches but I think the versatility and not being stuck with what you get is invaluable.

I decided to take the plunge on this after the release of the Ghost expansion for X-Wing, as that model was too large for Plano. The case itself is fantastic. It's easy to move during tournament events without being obtrusive. As an unexpected bonus, the top of the case can be used as a side table for my ship cards and tokens. The only downside is a minor one, as I wish I could have swapped out the two 4-inch trays for some smaller ones. I simply bought those as add-ons.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I received it in a short amount of time from when I ordered it. I was previously using some storage boxes and a GW case to transport my armies, which required the use of a 12 Gallon storage tub. This obviously wasn't working out, especially since I recently acquired larger models that do not fit. I am also happy with the future proofing of this case, due to the capacity to expand it with additional bags.

I have only received my 1520 today. Ordered mainly for organized storage of excess miniatures and moving armies from winter to summer residence. But even at first glance it is obvious that Battle Foam invested much more thought, time and passion into designing PACK Air. Extra pockets, easier load/unload process, better handle, zipper and other small details (like pocket for your card) combine into flawless tool for traveling with your army. Probably they considered PACK Plus to be added ontop of 1520 for holding books, measures and other little things you carry along, but as a stand alone product 1520XL is unwieldy comparing to it's fellow PACK bags. Nevertheless it has unparalleled volume for BF Large trays and the only and best solution if your army has tall models like Necron Obelisk or Imperial Knights. I could smoothly fit in both Necron and Skitarii armies 1850 points each.
