(1520) P.A.C.K. 1520XL Molle with Magna Rack Sliders Load Out (Black)

I have a lot of minis I need to move around and I was reluctant to spring for the largest bag on the site but having bought bags from Battle Foam previously, I knew it would be a solid choice. I did wait for a sale event since the cost of the bags can be a bit expensive, but I am happy I did make the purchase. The quality of the bag is just like all the other bags I have purchased from Battle Foam. Solid construction, great durability, a good amount of space for various sized miniatures. My only wish is that it had more pockets for transporting books, widgets, and other game aides. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

We can't ignore the price, but this is a fantastic way to store and move your models. The sliding racks make getting your units out for game time much easier than the standard magna racks. Putting magnets on the base of my Conquest army enables me to put the car in my car and get to where I'm playing with no damage to any model. That alone saves me enough time to make this an easy recommendation.

The bag is very well constructed and the slide out trays are high quality. Plenty of room for customization of height. My Admech army is very happy.

I bought this bag to be able to transport larger sized armies & models to and from my LGS. The bag is sturdy and works very well for that purpose. Having all the MOLLE expansion helps too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the wheels seem to be a little flimsy, and I am worried that after some time I am gonna need to replace them. 100% worth every dollar spent. The case feels so sturdy and assembly was easy. As someone who owns multile different factions it can easy fit them all!

In the compromise between weight and durability this bag goes for heavy and durable. It's a hard sided case, and if you use strong enough magnets I'd feel comfortable flying with it as a checked bag. The downside is this thing is a BEAST. The handle on the top is only good for heaving the bag up onto a table. To carry it you have to use the handle and wheels. I have two minor quibbles with the design of the case. A reasonably strong and tall person could carry this with a shoulder strap if there were a way to attach a shoulder strap, but there isn't. I assume the emphasis on durability is also why there's a plastic frame under the slide out trays. You cannot slide out a tray to make room for a very tall model. There's a plastic shelf under the trays. With some tools and a bit of work I think you could cut away some or all of the shelf the tray rests on, but I don't know how that would affect the durability of the stack of trays. Battle Foam Says: First, you can get Molle Backpack straps, but the 1520 with Magna Racks would be a burly and not very ergonomic thing to carry on your back. Also, you can combine legs to create bigger gaps for tall models. Just remove the tray and you will get more room.

As a 40k Ork player, I need a big case. This one gives me plenty of room, and the magnet racks give me lots of flexibility. It's very sturdy and is just a great case.

At first I was thinking that I would give this 4 stars but changed my mind to 5. The bag and the sliding magna rack is amazing. It took me about 7 mins to set up after watching the video on how to put it together and then realizing I put the none pull out self on the top. It’s better on the bottom for the big stuff. At least with how I have mine set up. It’s great because I can mostly have troops/smaller figures from one army on one of the shorter sections and slide the whole thing out. Which makes it easy for getting ready for a game or putting everything away. Strong magnets are not needed for even big stuff. I had to remove a few rare earth magnets because they had some models super stuck to the shelf. I can fit so many more models in this case than others that I game with that have the same size case but use the foam for storage. My two 40K armies (Tau and Death Guard) both fix even with having 60+ drones and Poxwalkers each on their own shelf with extra room for shorter stuff. Last amazing thing that stands out to me as I write this is that me being a taller individual I have difficulties with roller bags not having long enough handles. Many have me running my feet into the bag. This bags handle is long and super strong to hold my terrain box on top as I move my stuff around. Like I said before it’s an amazing product.
