Battle Foam is the official bag company of Privateer Press and has worked directly with the design team there to create the ideal storage solution for tournament players and collectors alike.

The Hordes Bag can hold 13 inches (330 mm) of Privateer Press (PP) size foam trays (15.5W x 8.5L") or two stacks of 13 inches (330 mm) of Privateer Press Half (PP.5) size foam trays (8.5W x 7.75L").  The revolutionary design features many great options. Its rugged, black Ballistic Nylon exterior protects a hard plastic interior built for strength and durability.

The Privateer Press and Hordes logos are clearly embroidered on the bag to help show off your colors. Areas on the bag allow for award medals to be hung and Velcro patches to be applied. Pockets and storage have been built with Hordes players in mind. A convenient area in the back of the bag will hold over 30 card sleeves. There are pockets for extra cards. Also included in the back area is a friendly place for 4 dry erase markers to mark your cards.

The trays in this load out option were designed with the staff from Privateer Press. Each tray has sections tailored to fit the most oddly shaped models. These trays will hold 105 small base models, 22 medium base models, and 24 large base models.  You will receive the following foam trays with your purchase:

  • 3x Warmachine/Hordes Small Troop Tray - 1.5 inch (38 mm) thick tray with 30x 2 x 1 1/4 inch (51 x 31 mm) cut outs and 5x 2 3/4 x 1 1/4 inch (69 x 31 mm) cut outs.
  • 1x Warmachine/Hordes Medium Troop Tray - 2 inch (51 mm) thick tray with 16x 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 inch (57 x 38 mm) cut outs and 6x 2 1/2 x 2 inch (64 x 51 mm) cut outs.
  • 2x Warmachine/Hordes Warjack Warbeast Tray - 2.5 inch (64 mm) thick tray with 12x 3 x 2 1/2 inch (76 x 64 mm) cut outs.
  • 4x Privateer Press Foam Toppers

    Best Bag Ever

Ive spent countless hours on my minis and being able to carry them around and not worry is priceless. I love this bag and would make love to it if i didnt have to clean up a mess.

Glad I went with this over KR

Posted by IronRaginCajun (NJSOBs) on 21st Aug 2015

You can't beat this bag and the load out. I took months assessing both KR and Battlefoam eventually going with this bag as it's the best option for my Hordes Trollbloods and Circle armies. I bought custom foam for some of these minis and had enough foam for the above and my 3rd army, 40k Orks. So I can fit any 2 armies at a time in this bag and all my books, tools, cards, etc.
Highly recommend this if you play Warmachine or Hordes.

    Better than expected

Posted by Adam on 13th Dec 2014

It arrived quickly. Has a lot more space than anticipated and can easily fit 200pts worth of models. Feels strong and durable, and I am overall very pleased with it. The only bad thing I would say about it is that the glue holding together the foam trays looks crappy, but as long as it holds together for a long time it doesn't really matter.

Great bag if you buy the right foam

Posted by Nate on 12th Dec 2014

The bag itself is terrific. The standard loadout for hordes has the same size trays as warmachine and definitely shouldn't. The three 1.5" trays included are too small for all of my Skorne troops, and the 2.5" tray is too shallow for my heavy beasts. If you need foam, MEASURE YOUR MODELS FIRST then order the appropriate trays!

    Happy Wife Equals Happy Life!!

Posted by Adam Oden on 28th Jul 2014

I had already purchased a WarMachine bag for myself. Afterwards my wife started playing Hordes. I didn't mind sharing my bag but she kept bugging me for the Hordes version. So we ordered her bag. She loves it. She also likes the fact all the time she spent painting is now protected. Also, I must admit I like not having to share my bag anymore!!! Great Bags!! No regrets on any of my Battle Foam Purchases!!

Where has this bag been all my life?!

Posted by Steve on 11th Sep 2013

I have had many transport cases in my day, games workshop, Sabol, the list goes on, and this is just amazing. Not only is it built to take care of my models but it has special compartments for accessories too. The greatest relief is it handles my pewter models with fussy parts with kid gloves. Most of the guys I game with have these and now i see why. I may have to get custom foam pieces in the future.

    Perfect

Posted by David on 7th Sep 2013

can't really say enough good things about this. This was what I was looking for and more, and honestly when I get the money I will be getting a second one for my other army.

Blown away just how perfect this really is for hordes or warmachine. The basic foam trays it comes with are perfect for nearly everything I have for Khador (except a few cavalry models such as Fenris) and near perfect for my Circle Orboros army.

I also have the tray just for my khador jacks and all it took was taking out one bigger tray and one small tray and adding it and I STILL fit my entire khador army with an empty small tray in the case. (Minus my Colossal and Battle engine of course)

    Very Impressed.

Posted by Legion Core on 5th Aug 2012

I really love the functionality of this bag. I've had it for several months. Taking it to the local game shops. The only thing I really haven't used on the bag much is the water bottle carrier and the binder for the card pocket holder. Everything functions great on the bag. The only down side that I can see is the handle. If it had the battlefoam bag handle it would be awesome.

The Rolls Royce of mini transport

Posted by Michael on 30th Dec 2011

I already owned a few other Battle Foam cases, so I was already familiar with the quality of these cases.

Having put it off too long I ordered a Hordes case to go with the Warmachine case my Khador collection lives in. I now have PLENTY of storage space for my Orboros collection and being able to have the models, dice, templates and other bits needed for gaming all storded in the case together makes it that much easier to simply pick up and pop in the back of the car to head off for a day of gaming.
