    An investment

The folks over at initiativetabletop.com recommended this bag to me when I was attending one of their demos for Malifaux at a local gaming store. Right now my army has actually cost me less than this bag but there's plenty of room for expanding my collection and the bag is super convenient to carry around and to store. An investment worth the cost if you're going to actually take the time to paint anything imho.

Awesome bag with just the right set of foam trays!

I Love the size of these trays since they match my other SD trays. The bag works great for my Warmachine, Hordes, and WHFB armies. My 40k army is a bit too big for one bag but would fit into two bags.

    my Descent bag

The quality of the bag itself is good, better than I expected. I got the bag to store Descent 2nd edition stuff, and with a little modification, it handles all three "big boxes" and all current lieutenant packs. I only wish the side pockets were a bit easier to get into, maybe with velcro flaps.

Amazing bag for a single army

Posted by Unknown on 13th Jan 2013

Great bag first of all. I personally fit 4000 points of Blood Angels in it and i still have room for another 40 models. Amazing deal for an amazing case. Fits well in most peoples Mini figure budgets. Id recommend this case to anyone just so long as your models are not super spikey. If they are then i would get the empty bag and fill it with foam trays of your choice

    Great "Single" Army Bag!

Posted by Gabriel San Miguel on 6th Dec 2012

So i got my BF Sword bags in and here is a quickie write up. The Pros: Its a small cheap bag. Its 1 inch smaller than the Sabol Army Transport bags, and it fits the same profile foam sheets. So if you need to grab one at least thats the easy part. Its BF quality, very durable, and the zipper on the back goes all the way down, so you can very easily get your foam out. Its got a front sleeve you can easily fit a codex / faction book into, and a pocket rulebook, but dont try to fit 2 core books in, it simply isnt gonna happen and keep yer models safe. The Cons: The standard load out comes with a 4 inch pick and pluck, 2 1inch "standard marine" sheets, 1 banner sheet, and 1 terminator sheet. They have the sizes on the website but this is what we are most commonly used to use for refrence. So why is this a con, well the "standard marine" size sheet fits 40 models... as long as they dont have spikey horns and are almost the exact same size as yer standard black reach marine. You will find yourself using the banner size sheet as it will fit most 28mm models with no problem. The Terminator sheet is good and it holds 16, cant see much wrong with it. And the 4 inch pick and pluck is, well just that, 1 4inch pick and pluck. Its smaller than the standard army transport, thats all there is on that one. It doesnt have the hard rigid edges, but what do you expect from a cheaper bag. Although when stocked with foam you cant really tell much of a difference. Not a lot of pockets, and the 3 on the front seem a bit tacky, along with the "Sword Bag" logo across the front it makes for a very cheap looking, not very asthetically pleasing bag. Overall: It feels to be a well made heavy duty bag. Asthetics aside you still get the same BattleFoam quality that you would be used to from any of their products. As I mentioned it doesnt have the hard rigid interior, but you cant tell when its packed with foam. As long as you arent smacking it around or abusing it, and using it as a transport bag its fine. While it the sheets of foam do not allow for transporting a ton of models, this is what I would refer to as a single army bag. Something you can put your stuff into for a tournament, but not necesarrily everything you own for a faction. Does all my Khador fit in the bag? Nope, but this wasnt so i could get it all into a single bag, thats what the Warmachine bag i get in the spring will be for. Can I carry everything I need for a 1750 40k or a 50 point Warmahordes Tournament, sure with no problem.... well depending on the list. What I reccomend overall is that, once again, its a great, inexpensive single army transport, with good quaility. If you have the extra cash, spend a bit more and buy it empty and get the right foam for it though. Or make the step up to their Sheild Bag, BUT you will lose out on the full zipper. At the Black Friday price of approx 50 bucks it was more than worth it. Even at its regular price its a decent deal. If you need something to cart around a single,"non-horde" army, its a good deal. And it has definitely got my attention to the quality of products that BF can produce. 8/10 - Would Buy
