    Not a waste of money.

I built Morty with the scythe in the left hand as well. I put him in face down and not one part of him has ever broken off for me. And I’ve taken that case everywhere.

    Don't waste your money

Posted by Matt on 17th Apr 2021

I was originally going to build Mortarion with the scythe in his left hand, but because I saw that this foam with built with the scythe in the right hand, I decided to build it that way. I recently finished painting him and putting him together only to find out that even with the "instructions" that I can't fit him inside..... Don't waste you money, get pick and pluck foam because this is utter shit. There is no way I can reasonably fit him in all the way without snapping off the wings or the nurglings. I would be embarrassed to sell this in it's current state. Battle Foam Says: Hello Matt. First apologies for your issues and also thank you for taking the time to write this. Good Ole' Uncle Morty only drops into his shape a certain way. You go into the top at an angle, then guide him down. His Scythe hand should not matter what hand you decide to make it for the shape. Second, please reach out to us if you are ever unhappy with a solution from us. We have a Return Policy available, and can also aid in making a shape that would fit your specific Mortarion. Also, we sell quite a lot of this tray and don't have many issues at all and have first hand seen it work at Conventions, so we are quite proud of the outcome!

    Mortarion Tray

My mortarion was assembled with his scythe in his left hand. As he is he doesnt quite fit into the area made for him, the blade of his scythe scrapes against the edge, and the smoke between his wings cannot slip in at the top. The other slots in the tray also advertise holding plague drones, but there is no chance they could fit into any of those squares with their large legspan and wingspan. It will fit bloat drones or just about any non daemon prince HQ however. Battle Foam Says: We did create the shape with both configurations in mind. He is made to be dropped in from the top going to the bottom which should help. I will say ours was built to the standard T, so any variations can cause an issue, but that is what we have custom trays and tracing for!
