Description
The HeroQuest Game System Kellar's Keep Foam Tray will hold the entire contents of the HeroQuest Kellar's Keep Expansion. The tray will fit perfectly inside the game box. It's a great way to protect and organize the game pieces. The rulebook, mission quests, game templates, game tiles, and rule books can be safely stored at the bottom of the box under the foam kit.
(Please note that because of the size of the game contents, the foam trays will not allow the game box lid to completely close flush. The top box lid will sit about a 3/4 inch higher than normal due to the foam tray being placed inside with the game pieces.)
2.5 inch (64 mm) thick tray with 6x 1 1/5 inch (30 mm) circle cut outs, 4x 1 1/4 x 1 1/5 inch (32 x 30 mm) cut outs, 3x 2 3/4 x 1 3/8 inch (70 x 34 mm) cut outs, 2x 1 2/5 x 1 1/4 inch (36 x 32 mm) cut outs, 2x 1 1/8 x 1 1/8 inch (29 x 29 mm) cut outs, 1x 2 x 1 1/8 inch (50 x 29 mm) cut out, and 1x 8 1/4 x 1/2 inch (210 x 13 mm) cut out.

Keller Keep Heroquest
Foam in picture different from foam received. Foam received is better in my opinion with how the miniatures fit.

it's good but it could be great
The thickness of the foam not allowing the box to close completely is a bit if an issue but all it is a good product. Perhaps a redesign of it to allow the miniature to lay flat would solve this issue I do not really see an need for the cards and the flat card board pieces to need a slots as if the lay flat at the bottom of the box they will not get damaged. The box having a closing gap and the orientation of the miniatures isn't ideal. It presents a situation where the mini's could get crushed if another game box is stack on top of it. Food for thought when purchasing this item.
