(Ork) 22 Warbikes Foam Tray (BFL)

Bought 2x of the 2.5 inch tray to store bikers and dakkajets. Not a huge fan, as I hoping this would be a lot better than they do. The length of the cutouts is just barely enough space to fit a warbike in. If you stuck the grot on the back, the spikey plate in the front or any engine modifications on the back of the bike it won't fit in the space. The old warbikes will also not fit if you have the guns attached to them. The bikers holding big choppas will also not fit, the choppa is too wide for the slots although you might be able to cut enough space to fit them in. The black reach dakkajets do fit in the foam decently well though. They don't sit in the bottom, they have to be placed tail in first, then the front angled upwards. This is also making the assumption that you have magnetized / detached the copter's blades and aren't including them in the foam.

I definately recommend getting the 2.5" tray. I love being able to have all of my bikes in one tray. Even with their weapons up and boss poles, they all fit well.

The nature of the ork warbike kit makes you want to model weapons of you boys over there heads, but if you do this with the chain or the spiky bar they come out the top. Might be good to get this in 2.5 inches or model weapons more to the side.I solved this inconvenience by putting a foam topper on this tray and always putting it on top in my 1520xl. Nobs on warbikes with power klaw or big choppa don't really fit. The old models don't fit in this try unless you remodel them, which you should do anyways because they look ridicules with the guns sticking off like that.
