(Custom) Custom Battle Foam Large Foam Tray (BFL)

Custom foam creator was easy to use and produced exactly what I wanted to store my Wave 1 Star Wars Armada ships.

I used the wrong tray design at first but I sent an email and they switched it out with a new one and there were zero issues. I got the tray I wanted and it's top quality

Let me start by saying everything I've bought here has been worth every penny I paid. the custom trays especially. However, as tyranid player, some of the custom shapes are a bit lacking. Some of the bigger slots are too big, often a basic ellipse does the job better and I'd really like to see some kind of side facing slot for the tyrannocyte (an 8.5 inch tall tray for one model is a bit much). All in all though great stuff, wouldn't buy from anyone else.

The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is the custom tray creator tool. It is pretty hard to work with since you can't save your work or copy complex shapes. A save option and a way to copy groups of shapes would be a welcome edition. The try once created rocks!

I used generic shapes for my Firestorm Planetfall models and was able to fit a core helix, heavy helix and an aerial helix all in one tray!

Everything fits exactly as intended! Stormraven, Dreadnoughts and Drop Pods, all very snug and secure.

The customer service department worked with me to make sure they understood what my orders was and didn't complete the order until the were sure. The foam itself is in great shape, well cut, and seems durable but flexible. My only gripe ios that my stormtalons don't quite fit. They are a bit too snug for comfort. I only saw one shape for the stomrtalon in the custom designer. I have lascannons on mine, and because of it, they don't fit properly. Otherwise, I was extremely happy with everything else.

I bought three customer trays for all of my Attack Wing & X-Wing products and this makes it so much easier to keep everything organized as well as making it much easier to transport. I've used pluck foam before, and it works well, but can sometimes come loose from the bottom or break on the sides. Custom foam is much more secure and allows me to put more than just models into the case.

I hadn't ordered one of these trays before so I wasn't sure how a custom foam job would come out. It came out better than expected as any crooked drag and drop foam slots were aligned better. The specs were all right and it was exactly as I laid out. It's perfect like a tray designed by the Battlefoam crew.

I love the custom trays. Even with using dofferent overlayed shapes to get the exact and complex form I needed, it arrived just like I wanted. I have made several custom trays and have always been happy with the results. It also seems that turn around time has improved.
