Description

The Warhammer Quest Cursed City foam trays will hold the entire game's contents.  The 2x foam trays will fit perfectly inside the box.  It's a great way to protect and organize all of the miniatures and game pieces.  Tiles and accessories can safely be stored on the bottom right of the game box under the 2 inch tray.  Please review pictures for reference.

(Please note that because of the size of the game contents, the foam trays will not allow the game box lid to completely close flush.  The top box lid will sit about 1 inch higher than normal due to the trays being placed inside with the board game pieces. See picture.)

Custom text is not available on this product.

2 inch (50 mm) thick tray and 3 inch (76 mm) thick tray.

Tray Dimensions - 10.75W x 11.5L x 2.25H" (273W x 292L x 57H mm) & 6W x 11.5L x 3.25H" (152W x 292L x 83H mm)

(Board game, models and other game accessories not included with the purchase of this kit.)

WARHAMMER QUEST CURSED CITY FOAM TRAY KIT FOR GAME BOX

A good tray to fit in the box. I especially appreciate that it is in two section instead of a long floppy one.

    Nice Tray for Cursed City

Posted by Todd Wagner on 24th Jan 2022

This is a nice tray for the Cursed City set. The cursed city miniatures do have some pointy ends that require careful extraction for some of the minis, but otherwise it's an excellent fit and the always amazing battlefoam cuts allow for miniature storage in a compact space.

    Slight trimming required.

Sadly there are quite a few spaces that are way too small for what they are supposed to hold. Battle Foam Says: We have a nifty visual guide on the site to show where each model goes. Some models are snug, but that is by design as we do not want them rattling around!

    Cursed City Foam Tray Kit

Posted by Dan on 4th Sep 2021

Some of the holes are a bit tight. You may have problems if any added static grass or terrain features extend beyond the edge a figure's base. Getting figures out without catching on the foam can be difficult. as many of the holes are too deep. The Corpse Rat slots are square instead of round and you have to insert them at an angle. More thought could have been put into the height of the foam so that it corresponds to the height of the various miniatures. Generally speaking the holes are unnecessarily deep. If I could, I would return the set. I will either gift this foam to someone or sell it at auction. I WILL NOT USE IT. Battle Foam Says: Hello! Thank you for your feedback! In foam designed for board game boxes, we tend to make it tighter as the containers are used and stored differently than a Battle Foam bag typically. Also, you are more than able to return it for a full refund within 30 days. We want all of our customers to be happy with their purchase, and even though we try to meet all expectations, that isn't possible. Therefore, we provide an avenue for any customers not happy!

    Too big

Posted by Zack Smith on 30th Jul 2021

foam insert was too tall for box, doesn't close Battle Foam Says: It is correct in that the box will not close flush, but the amount that it sticks up is less than half of the height of the bottom box portion. We do have pictures showing how high it will be with the lid closed. Just a fact of using foam in protecting within the box. We do have trays available that use our bags or boxes if you wanted to avoid the box completely!

    Great inserts

Posted by Cody on 22nd Jul 2021

Great set. I have the Blackstone Fortress inserts as well and they are a fantastic way to keep everything together. The parts on these kits are very fragile, and having the custom cut foam is definitely going to go miles in preserving their integrity.

    Fairly good

Posted by Nathan Bussa on 21st Jun 2021

Product is as advertised. Only had problems with one figure placement and in the end a tip of his beard had to get snipped to fit him in. I do agree with other reviewers that there is no good placement for tokens and not a huge fan that the foam pieces are lopsided (main character side is a few millimeters taller so the lid sits at an angle). I will continue to buy battle foam but not a fan of the box foams. Battle Foam Says: The stacking of items underneath will help alleviate the lopsided aspect. We stack the tiles and other items in a way to have it fairly even. If you look at the product pictures, you can see how they are stacked to get to a more even finish on the top. Also, the bearded gentleman can go into a generic rectangle n the other tray and swap that model into his circle!

    Cursed City Foam

Posted by Steve on 13th Jun 2021

This was my first battlefoam purchase and likely my last. After hearing positive things about their inserts for years, I wanted to give this game's insert a shot and even managed to pick it up on sale. I really expected a better fit for the game contents. There is hardly any room for tokens and definitely no space for bagged character cards like the game requires. To top it off, the minis have some very pokey bits that get stuck coming out of the foam. I'll be 3d printing a token holder, figuring out something better for the minis, and ditching this insert. Battle Foam Says: Hello! Sorry to hear about your issues with our Cursed City kit. We do have a return policy in place for you and anyone who is unhappy with their Battle Foam purchase. Please use that if needed and wanted. We do have a visual guide as well as product pictures that show how everything goes together such as the tokens and tiles. We even provide a cheat sheet with the foam kit to show where the different minis go. With that said, spindly bits are a common occurrence with GW products, and understand sometimes that can get caught on the way up or out. On top of this, not everyone will glue their models to the base the same, so the shapes have a little lee-way to account for that, but not a lot on such a tight kit for Cursed City. We do have different generic slots that can help with this and you can use the spaces as needed to protect your minis.

    Excellent set.

Posted by Ronald Glass on 8th Jun 2021

I love both this set and the Blackstone Fortress set but both could use a video or page on how EXACTLY to store your figs, cards, dice, etc. in the foam. The current pics on the website could use some updating. Battle Foam Says: We include a guide for the Cursed City set that should help!
