Ammo Box Bag with Magna Rack Slider Load Out

I bought the Ammo Box bag along with a MOLLE rulebook pouch with the intent of having an "all-in-one" mass transport system for my BattleTech miniatures as well as miniatures for Black Powder Red Earth 28mm. Since I demo both systems, I needed enough room for minis for both as well as auxiliary equipment, including multiple rulebooks, dice, templates, etc. The Magna-Racks make the bag rather heavy, but the top slider tray holds my entire collection of BPRE 28mm minis with space to spare, and the middle tray provides me with more than enough space to store all the BattleTech minis I could possibly need for one scenario. I estimate one could fit approximately 2 companies or 2 trinaries (12-15 'Mechs) of the new CGL minis, with room to spare, per tray. The bottom tray I use as "mass storage," and have placed a "loose" small foam tray inside of to store things like older, unmagnetized minis and supplementary card decks. The bag pockets are also very spacious - one side stores my templates and dice for BPRE 28mm, the other stores templates and markers for BattleTech and BattleTech Alpha Strike. The front pockets are large enough for me to store an A4 box of mapsheets or a 1.5-inch binder for record sheets in the full size pocket, and the "half-size" pocket stores more dice, tape measures, a small notebook, and a folding tablet stand. The addition of the MOLLE rulebook pouch to the back then allows me to transport a couple of rulebooks, quick-reference cards, and punch-out tokens. All in all, it does everything I need it to and then some, but I do wish the front flap was designed a bit better (if you have anything in the front pockets, it will not open "flat"), and given the weight of the Magna Rack system, some padding for the shoulder strap and handle would have been appreciated. Still, these are minor complaints at best, and I'm pretty satisfied with the system as a "grab and go" box. I wish Battle Foam made a smaller Magna-Rack compatible bag that was half the size of this one (and priced accordingly), but I won't say no to buying another if one does come along.

Bag was exactly what I needed! There was a very minor mix up with the rack spacers that came with the bag, but Billy and the Battle Foam team were quick to resolve it with no hassle. This bag holds my many Kill Teams with space for the rulebooks and accessories. Highly recommended!

The Ammo Bag with Magna Rack Sliders is perfect for transporting my 2000 point Space Marine army with some extras for variety. Highly recommend this product!

It came with foam scrapes so the shelves wouldn’t scratch each other in transit. Now I’ve got grocery bag full of foam and the magna rack and bag.

Love this case, it is crazy strong and well made. The manga racks are near perfect, just want a way to lock them in place. Note this isn’t as big as it seems. Yes I can fit over 2000pts of Death Guard, but I should have gotten a step higher so I can transport Mortarion. .
