BattleTech Small Model Foam Tray (BFL)

I use this tray for my Battletech vehicles and flyers for both Clan and Innersphere forces. They hold the minis perfect and secure.

It works wonders for most of what iron wind metals has in a battletech battlemechs line but it doesnt really work for the new catalyst game labs products hitting the market Battle Foam Says: We are working on that!

I'd recommend mostly getting the other insert option here. These hex openings are a bit on the small side and while some of my miniatures which are a mix of the old Ral Partha and new Catalyst lines, many more then I had expected don't fit here. Solid quality but would rather seen a row each dimension dropped and the openings a bit bigger. Very glad I got the deeper option as well.

The hex cut foam used for Battletech is great. I'm using it for 1 1/2, 2 and 2 1/2 inch thickness and haven't had any failures in transporting my army. I highly recommend these for any hex based force!

The foam's very sturdy and will hold up to whatever you do to stuff your miniatures into their neat hex-like shapes. However, I made a grave error when ordering and only got the 1.5" deep ones. These ones are ideal for all light 'Mechs, most mediums, and only a few heavies and assaults. Fortunately, those that can fit will fit quite snugly thanks to the shape of the hex bases. Measure the heights and widths of your miniatures! Your Reseen Warhammer won't fit in these spaces!

This product suits my needs perfectly, carrying more than a battalion of Battlemechs. The quality is great and Battlefoam's service is impeccable. I recommend them to all my friends!

Received a 2" battletech small foam tray last week and it works great for most of my mech models. Using it to store both older RP models and also many of the new plastic models from the recently released (2014) catalyst box set. Good investment
