Honored as the First Legion created by the Emperor, the Dark Angels are genetically engineered super-soldiers who defend the Imperium with grim determination. Though celebrated across the galaxy as selfless defenders of Mankind, they harbor an ancient, shameful secret regarding the Fallen—a dark history they will go to any length, including purging entire star systems, to keep hidden from the rest of the Imperium.

Inducted into the innermost circle of the 1st Company, Deathwing Knights wear heavy Terminator armor and wield relic maces of absolution alongside storm shields to crush high-value targets in close combat.
