Great product but BF should really show more pictures for reference.

Love these trays (bought mine in early 09), but have a gripe about some of the pre-cut trays, as they don't really tell you which models they really cater too. For this one (bought this one, one of the grav tanks pre-cut trays, and a pluck tray), it's the least satisfying because some models which you think would fit, don't really (read on). The below is designed to paint a better picture on the how the pre-cut slots fit your models. At the 1.5" tray, the top 30 slots are perfect for fitting Guardians (standing up), but not much else. The unique shape is perfect for the angle of the weapons on the Eldar models, but the challenge is fitting in the vertical space (for example, the Guardian with the extended backpack antenna (used for the weapon battery) doesn't fit when standing - in regards to the vertical space, and the guardian with the 'medium tall' backpack antenna (the one with the bumps) barely fits here when standing. Dire Avengers, and other Elite troops don't fit in these slots too well because of that fact (although if your creative on 3d spacial awareness you can make some other models fit (non exarch fire dragons & dire avengers) - but you'll be pushing it and risk some model damage If not done right. The only other troops that fit well here are the shorter Warlocks and squatting rangers. The next 20 slots are actually nice for the majority of the remaining "pointy head" figures. Although you may have to 'slit' some of the foam walls to fit some of the extravagant posing the Eldar models have (harlequin power weapons and banshee swords, etc). So depending on your army, this is a hit or miss tray. But hopefully this write up and maybe future 'better' product marketing on BF's end (I'm available for contract work ;)), will allow everyone else to buy with more confidence that these trays are 'perfect' for your army.
