Black Orc Tray Dwarfs the Armed to the Teef

Posted by Gosford on 24th Feb 2012

Let me preface this review by saying that I do NOT think this a bad tray. However, it does need some re-configuring. The tray it itself is indeed applicable to its description. However, Great weapon black orcs will be hanging over into the next slot no matter how you position them. Black Orcs are notorious for not ranking up well on the table and the same goes for this tray. In addition, I would not recommend bagging this tray full of black orcs without a foam protector layer on top. 1.5 inches is a decent height for the tray, but considering how bulky these guys are you might need an extra half inch. Plus, a 2 inch tray could possibly solve the great weapon issue. However, you run the risk of making the tray too deep and wasting space. I'm not sure if the solution is with a 2.5 inch tray with them standing straight up or creating a custom template for great weapon black orcs and 2 hand weapon black orcs. Personally, I think I would prefer the latter and make my own tray. 40k has endless customization. It's time for fantasy to get whats due. 3 stars.
