Good for tall models too
I bought the 2.5" thick tray. My Space Marine and Chaos terminators fit nicely in their compartments. The only tight fit was the Chaos terminator with the Reaper autocannon. He had to be positioned perfectly and I considered cutting a small slot for the barrel of his gun. The assault marine slots are great for tall miniatures with the sword held high pose. The assault marines fit well, but some had to be rotated a bit because of the sword pose.
