Description

This tray will hold six medium sized airplanes for Wings of War and fifteen larger sized airplanes for Wings of War.

Custom text is not available on this product.

1.5 inch (38 mm) thick tray.  The cut outs for the medium airplanes are 2 1/4 inches (57 mm) long for the body of the airplane and 2 1/2 inches (63 mm) wide for the wings.  The cut outs for the large airplanes are 2 1/2 inches (63 mm) long for the body of the airplane and 3 1/2 inches (89 mm) wide for the wings. 

Tray Dimensions - 15.5W x 12L x 1.75H" (394W x 305L x 44H mm)

    Battle Foam Wings Of War Tray for Large & Medium Planes (BFL-1.5)

    This tray is very useful for those players wishing to add observation/bombing large aircraft to their fleets. I found this tray very useful in storing my large two seater aircraft. One minor complaint is that this tray is quite deep and if you have two seater aircraft which may not be so large, they don't seem to fit quite right. In fact the propeller area snagged one of my planes propeller blades and broke it off. The easy fix? use your xacto knife and cut out unneeded foam to make removing your aircraft from this deep tray easy. Overall I found this tray to be quite good, and sturdy, even with a full load of planes.

    Ultimate storage for volume

    Between this tray, and the other Wings of War (now wings of Glory) tray, I can store my entire collection of series 1-4, with several spots left open! In addition, the combination of these two trays is only 3 inches thick, including the base. So, what used to take two stacks of over 10 inches of foam now takes up less than half of that!
