(Custom) Custom Battle Foam Large Foam Tray (BFL)

The foam is much stronger than that used in other pluck trays so I feel safer about my figurines in it. The Custom tray service is super useful to arrange your figurines the wat you want, though it can take time to do it properly. One warning though: don't only at the base size of your models but also at weapons spreading beyond that base. I made that mistake and now have to cut through the foam to help fit the miniatures. Not a big deal though.

I purchased two custom trays for a friend's growing Imperial Guard army. My friend has written up some lore for his army and I requested a unique inscription for the foam based on that lore. Unfortunately, when the order arrived at his home, the inscription was missing! *gasp* I was pretty bummed out as the inscription would have taken the foam from great to amazing. I contacted Battlefoam and Stephanie both sympathized with my dilemma and also solved it! She had brand new custom trays made with the inscription added! So now my friend is super lucky and has 4 total custom trays! I cannot express how happy I was with Battlefoam for being understanding about the issue. Stephanie had it solved right away and I could not be happier! I will definitely be buying more from Battlefoam!

The laser cut foam came exactly to the dimensions i had specified using the online tool. However, be careful with some of the templates offered on the tool. For example, the Lord Discordant shape, which I used, was cut so tight that it was difficult getting the model into the foam and ironically was the only time I broke the model.. trying to fit it in the foam I assumed was designed specifically for that model. I would suggest going for pluck foam as an alternative and may be slightly less expensive. Battle Foam Says: Hello! We did have a snug fit on Mr. Lord Discordant due to the bits hanging off the base being spindly. We always err on the side of not allowing the model to move opposed to being loose. Due to your review though, we are going back and retesting fitment for the shape to make sure it is not only secure, but practical! Thank you Nicholas!

battlefoam does a great job of making thje trays to fit my army. gamesworkshop has changed the bases for there flyers making them larger so i had to do some modifications to make them fit. This is no fault of Battlefoam. I understand it is hard to keep up with manufaturers changes. Great Job , i will recommend you to all my friends.

Being able to custom make trays to the models I have is great! I have never been disappointed in any battlefoam product, it is THE way to transport my HH, 40K, and Blood and Plunder models.

I sometimes have trouble with computer files yet twice Battle Foam has come through getting my design for these trays right for my X-wing games. When they see a flaw in my design they quickly confirm any changes with me and then they get cut and sent to me in rapid time. This is simply the best company to protect your figures with!

I custom ordered foam for the main body of my Porphyrion, 2 sets of army decks, a variant of the nightbringer, a Necron can, 2 blocks of dice, and a Seraphon Carnosaur. It all fits perfectly. I had to make a slight adjustment to the Porphyrion socket cause I measured the exhausts wrong. Otherwise they did a fantastic job. I'll definitely order more.

The battle foam is exactly what I ordered; however, the pre-cut sections listed for the Wood Elves/Sylvaneth need to be updated. The cuts do not fit a Treelord Ancient properly unless you stick him in upside down and even then there is potential for the model to catch the foam. The process itself was extremely easy and user friendly and I would definitely use the process again with other armies.

I ordered a custom tray for my Scum faction X-Wing ships to fir my entire fleet and it came cut perfectly well within the specified time. I highly recommend any of Battlefoam's products!

I got one for my two Dreadclaws and the other for my Caestus Assault Ram. My models fit beautifully inside of the custom cut foam. Spectacular
